Making wine that pairs with food

We were recognized by the Amateur Gastronomer magazine for our 2007 Sonoma County Zinfandel. At Kokomo Winery it is very important to us that our wines go well with food. We view wine as the sixth food group and like to think that you are going to get complexities from the wine when it is paired with a particular dish that you would not otherwise get. As the winemaker, it is flattering and important to be recognized by the food community for our wines. Unfortunately we are sold out of this vintage but I encourage you to try the 2008, which I feel is equally as good!
